Elizabeth Gatto is a painter living and working in Buffalo, NY.

Elizabeth’s practice revolves around the relationship between intuition and mixing color. She often finds inspiration in botanical imagery, folk art, antiques, and children’s books. Her works tell stories about earthly connection and trusting yourself.

When she is not painting, she works as an Educator and Program Coordinator at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. The conservatory serves as a constant spark of creativity. Its luminous glass walls filled with organic forms, vibrancy, and bold patterns always inspire productivity. These different muses come together to inform Elizabeth’s work.

Elizabeth has exhibited her work in multiple juried shows including  Allentown Art Festival and Lewiston Art Festival.

Her work has also been featured in the following gallery exhibitions:

Allen Street Art - Spring into Color - April 2025, group exhibition
